About the Practitioner

Mo Bussink is a Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of Maryland. She is also a member of the Nationally Certified Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Mo attended Delaware Learning Institute of Massage Therapy in Dagsboro, DE, and graduated in 2012. She decided to become a massage therapist to help people living with muscle tension and pain, find relief. Mo started out her career, working on boats for many years before moving to Deal Island, MD. Soon after settling down, she began working on a commercial crabbing and oystering vessel and befriended many of the local watermen. As time went on, she realized how physically demanding this job was and how many watermen suffered from chronic back and shoulder pain due to the repetative heavy lifting they did on a day to day basis. It was then, that she decided to start her journey of becoming a licensed massage therapist so that she could help these hard-working watermen in her area and expanded to helping all people with chronic pain and discomfort. She believes in the power of massage to relieve muscle dysfunction and promote over-all well being without invasive modern medicine. Mo continues to expand her knowledge of the benefits of massage therapy through continuing education in areas including Thai Yoga Massage and Cupping Therapy.
